Satisfied customers – our shared responsibility

Market surveys and sales statistics help us in selecting the products we offer. But it is the cooperation between food producers, suppliers and ICA that determines how well we succeed in reaching our shared goal: truly satisfied customers.

ICA places stringent requirements on the products sold in its stores. It is also why we place stringent requirements on our suppliers and their subcontractors. All of ICA’s suppliers must be certified according to a third party standard. But in the case of our private label products, we require more from our suppliers. They must be certified either according to one of the Global Food Safety Initiative’s approved standards for food production or ISO 22000. In addition, they must live up to our stringent requirements on animal welfare, environmental work and social responsibility.

To make the contact between ICA and supplier easier ICA offers an Internet service called Levnet. All ICA’s supplier has access to Levnet. The address is www.levnet.ica.se. You need a watchword to get access.
